Want to sell your Vintage Guitar?

The International Vintage Guitar Collectors Association is looking to purchase vintage guitars.

Buyers say old instruments can bring in up to $200 thousand depending on the model and how rare it is.

One singer says after 25 years, it was time to get rid of the Fender guitar he stored under his bed.

Fresno resident, Fred Ramos said, "I got $2,000.00 for it. It's a 1960 Jazzmaster. It was really a cool deal. I feel comfortable I could use the money."

The instrument buyers will write a check on the spot. They say guitars with original finishes and parts earn the most cash.

The event runs Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Airport at 5090 east Clinton in Fresno.
