Tracy based company announces Broccoli recall

FRESNO, Calif.

The Tracy-based Taylor Farms Pacific announced the recall after a random test by ag officials came up positive for bacteria.

The bacteria found can cause serious and sometimes fatal infection in young children and the elderly. The broccoli is in cooked and fresh products sold at supermarkets like Safeway and Vons around California.

The products have expiration dates from February 7th to March 7th of this year. So far no illnesses have been reported.
