Consignment sale opens in Visalia

This spring's "Just Between Friends" sale features more than 90,000 baby, children's, and maternity items from nearly 500 sellers.

The consignment event is going on near the mall's theater and gently used clothing and toys are on sale.

Moms we spoke with say they don't miss the bi-annual sales because of the huge savings.

"I love to come. There's a big variety of everything. I have four kids ages five to 15 and I find something for everyone," Jennifer Martinez said.

The sales are also a chance for parents to make money on items their children have outgrown or no longer use.

Consignors make 65 to 70 percent of whatever they sell and there is still time to register for the Fresno sale, that begins on April 1.

The Visalia sale runs through March 12 at Visalia's Sequoia Mall.
