First Annual Fresno Food Expo

FRESNO, Calif.

Fresno, California - Organizers of the Fresno Food Expo are proud to announce the list of vendors that will be part of the inaugural show, which will take place on Friday, March 11, 2011 at The Grand in Downtown Fresno. The Fresno Food Expo will be an exclusive event that will offer an opportunity for the Central San Joaquin Valley's finest food growers, manufacturers, processors, producers, brewers and winemakers to exhibit their products to national and local retail buyers, restaurants and chefs.

The businesses that will be part of the inaugural Fresno Food Expo range from large to small and feature products such as biscotti, Armenian cracker bread, stone and tree fruit, salmon flavored beef jerky, gourmet chocolate, Chinese noodles, pickled jalapeños and a variety of local wines. "Vendors were selected based on the variety in each category. The goal for the inaugural Fresno Food Expo is to demonstrate that our region offers a wide variety of products so diversity was a key priority for the first year. As we continue to grow and offer more vendor spaces, we believe there will be a place for all food producers in the Central San Joaquin Valley," stated Scharton.
