The Fresno Fire Department says around 3 a.m. Monday morning a fire broke out in the garage of a home near Cedar and Hamilton in Southeast Fresno. Firefighters say the blaze appears to be electrical.
A total of 13 people were inside the home when the fire happened, but no one was injured.
Damage could total up to $42,000. Firefighters say a car and other valuables in the garage are a total loss, but the rest of the home was undamaged.
The Red Cross is helping the family find temporary housing.
