Around 6 p.m. Sunday, someone fired multiple rounds outside a house on Dorothy Avenue near Jensen and Elm.
Police say just as they were getting to the scene, a car matching the suspect's drove away. They chased the suspect a few blocks to Fruit and Eden where he jumped from the car and ran into a neighborhood. He was taken into custody.
Police found four cars that had been shot at the original scene and nearby, a woman who had been shot in the arm. She was taken to the hospital to be treated.
It's unclear what led to the shooting. Police haven't released any other information on the suspect or the victim.
