Leticia Casas was shot Wednesday night at a home on Mendocino Avenue, near Manning. 36-year-old Jesus Nunez was arrested after the shooting.
A neighbor was in his front yard when he heard a gunshot. When investigators arrived, they found Casas dead. Nunez was arrested on murder charges several hours later.
Nearly a dozen people were inside the house at the time of the shooting.
