These are live pictures of West Avenue north of Herndon. Fresno Police say the chase ended there shortly after three this morning.
The chase began at McKinley and Valentine in West Central Fresno when Fresno County Sheriff deputies tried to pull over a stolen car.
When they got to West Avenue north of Herndon the suspect crashed into a pole, police say he was ejected from the car and was taken to the hospital. His condition has not been released.
