They began with a prayer this morning before boarding a bus at the Clovis Wal-Mart parking lot at Peach and Shaw. Many parents had signs with pictures of murder victims which they will carry at a victims' march in Sacramento Monday afternoon.
Nellie Carillo's son David was killed in 2002 near his Fresno home. His killer has never been found.
"We're praying for closure, we're praying strength, God give us the strength to deal with this pain every single day," said Nellie Carillo with Mother's for Justice.
Carillo hopes a cash reward will help lead to her son's killer.
