Sarah Palin speaks about water rights in Lemoore

FRESNO, Calif.

The former governor was asked to come speak about water rights in the Central Valley. She says valley farmers don't need a hand out or a hand up to get back to work, she says they need quote "hands off" from the federal government. She also compared the Valley to her home in Alaska. Palin says Valley residents should not take the many opportunities presented here for granted.

West Hills College paid about $115,000 to bring Palin here to the South Valley. School officials expect to bring in anywhere from $100,000 to $200,000 from this event.
