Fresno man hit by delivery truck wins lawsuit

FRESNO, Calif.

Surveillance video shows the Sears truck blow through a stop sign and crash into a pickup truck at Shields and Grantland.

Mamoru Maseba was badly injured in the crash. His attorney, Warren Paboojian, says Maseba had two brain surgeries and has trouble walking now.

A jury decided Sears and the contractor that owned the delivery truck should pay medical expenses, plus $3.5-million in damages.

Action News contacted lawyers for Sears, but they had no comment.
