Drivers in Northeast Fresno had to navigate flooding in a busy intersection. All but one of the westbound lanes of Herndon at Cedar were covered in water. The speed limit is 50-miles-per hour, and many drivers didn't notice the water until they hit it. Some cars hydroplaned but no accidents were reported.

Standing water forced the closure of the underpass of Fresno and G Streets in Downtown Fresno. The flooded stretch of road is forcing drivers to take a detour around the site.

City crews blamed the wet weather for a big branch that fell on someone's front lawn on Palm and Robinson in Central Fresno. There was no damage reported to the house. The crews were still cleaning up the mess late Monday morning.
