Fire crews recieved the call Friday morning when a train worker noticed a strong odor coming from one of the cars. Fire crews immediately recognized the chemical as hydrochloric acid and knew then they had to act quickly.
Hazardous materials crews used a garbage bag and duct tape to cap the leak until the valve causing the leak can be replaced.
Firefighters say the leak is no longer a threat.
