The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation was ongoing, said the two men were arrested Wednesday. The official said that if the district attorney's office files a case against the men, the man previously identified as the suspect, /*Giovanni Ramirez*/, would be exonerated.
Calls to Ramirez's attorneys, Anthony Brooklier and Jose Romero, were not immediately returned Thursday.
Giants fan /*Bryan Stow*/ was almost fatally beaten outside the stadium March 31. He remains in serious condition after suffering brain damage.
