/*Scott Nelson*/ was killed on Wednesday after his bicycle crashed into a jogger.
At a "Welcome Back to School" rally at Mount Whitney High School -- students watched a slide show of the popular math teacher.
Scott's brother, Randy, is also a teacher at Mount Whitney. He sat with Nelson's children, girlfriend, and other family members before he encouraged students to always strive for their best.

Scott Nelson's funeral service will likely be held sometime next week.
