Acapulco Mexican restaurant on Blackstone Avenue near Dakota closed Monday night after nearly thirty years in business. It first opened in 1982.
A restaurant spokesperson tells Action News the restaurant simply did not generate enough sales to stay open.
The 29 employees who worked there have been offered opportunities to work at other restaurants.
The chain still has more than 20 locations in California.
