Fatal crash in Fresno County

FRESNO, Calif.

The C.H.P. says the man's pickup truck was hit at the intersection of Temperance and Church at about 10:30 a.m. Monday morning.

"A little Toyota pickup truck, according to witnesses, failed to stop at stop sign came out right in front of Dodge Ram pickup, said Sgt. Kevin Acosta with the California Highway Patrol, "the driver of the Ram was unable to stop and collided with passenger side of Toyota."

Officer say the driver of the Dodge Ram was traveling about 45 to 50 miles per hour, which is the speed limit in that area. It doesn't appear that alcohol or fatigue were involved.

Both drivers were alone in their vehicles.
