Fresno teacher pleads not guilty in meth case

FRESNO, Calif.

/*Dorothy Ramirez*/ stood by her attorney in court and barely spoke as her case came up.

A new search warrant obtained by Action News shows what Fresno County Sheriff's Deputies found when they pulled over Ramirez's car while investigating a robbery.

/*Joseph Frago*/ was driving Ramirez's car and he's the only one charged with the robbery.

Deputies say they found meth in an eyeglass case belonging to Ramirez, an Easterby Elementary School teacher.

They also found two throwing knives.

Ramirez's attorney does not believe the teacher will be held responsible for the weapons.

"I don't believe there's going to be any evidence they watched her carrying a knife from her classroom to her car," Ramirez's attorney Charles Magill said.

Ramirez is on administrative leave while she fights the charges.
