Many parents get nervous when their teenage children get behind the wheel, but not one Michigan man. He's facing several charges after he let his 9-year-old daughter drive him to a gas station.
Surveillance video captured the scene at a gas station in Michigan. Everything looks normal as the red van parks near the gas pumps. Then you see a little girl jump out of the drivers side and the dad comes out of the passenger side.
Surveillance cameras also caught the father and daughter inside the store. The video shows him buying cigarettes for himself and a caramel apple for the girl.
A fellow driver alerted authorities. The girl was sitting behind the wheel propped up on a booster seat when police stopped the van.
The father was charged with second and fourth degree child abuse.
