Two families in mourning after crash in Fresno County

FRESNO, Calif.

The crash happened on Friant Road north of Willow Sunday afternoon. The California Highway Patrol reports Nguyen was riding a motorcycle when it collided with a Cadillac that was making a left turn into a private driveway. Nguyen was ejected from the motorcycle and died from his injuries.

Monday, a few of Nguyen's friends gathered at the site of the crash to reflect on his life and burn incense. They said he was a he was a respectful young man who was always willing to help others. "People like him. He's a really good kid. We're really sorry we lost him. We cannot sleep," said friend Cill Sue.

The Sue family said Nguyen came to America from Vietnam as a child. He later graduated from Buchanan High School and served four years in the Army, including at least one tour in the Middle East. "He came back from the service and started from scratch. It's just sad he passed so young," said Leslie Sue.

A passenger in the Cadillac was also killed. She's identified as 77 year old Janet Mooshagian, the mother of former Fresno State Football player, Steve Mooshagian. Steve Mooshagian went on to coach at Fresno State and is now the head football coach at Ventura College. On Sunday night he posted a message on his Twitter account, calling it the toughest day of his life. The Tweet went on to say "my mom was the toughest and most amazing woman that I was blessed to have in my life!"

The 83 year old driver of the Cadillac was treated for minor injuries. At this point, the party at fault isn't clear.
