Police investigating two overnight shootings

FRESNO, Calif.

In one case, investigators are trying to find the gunman who shot a man in the leg, but they say the victim isn't helping.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night in Northwest Fresno at Shaw and Marks.

Witnesses told police they heard shots coming from the direction of two cars.

One man was shot in the upper leg.

Police say he is not being very cooperative in their investigation.

The man was taken to Community Regional Medical Center.

His condition has not been released.

Also Wednesday night, a man was shot in the leg in Central Fresno.

Police say it happened during a drive by shooting at Franklin and Roosevelt around 7 p.m.

Another person was grazed by a bullet.

Police say both wounds were not life threatening.
