According to Fresno Police Robert Wollert was arrested Thursday night. Wollert faces several charges including two counts of a stolen vehicle, a count of receiving stolen property, as well as a count of possession of burglary tools.
Back in May, police said they caught Wollert looking for cars to steal in the neighborhood near Seventh and McKinley. Investigators also said he was carrying tools used to steal cars.
Police said Wollert confessed to stealing more than one thousand cars in a matter of months.
