The Madera County Sheriff's Department identified a stolen vehicle near Pierce Lakes Drive and Road 428 in Oakhurst. A pursuit started at 8:22 Tuesday morning.
The chase ended eight minutes later when the suspect abandoned the vehicle near Morning Oak Lane in Coarsegold. Three people ran from the vehicle, two of them were captured, one remains at large.
Under arrest are 32-year-old Scott Guthrie of Oakhurst and 20-year-old Jocelyn Gray of Oakhurst. Both Guthrie and Gray are accused of helping the driver.
Investigators are still looking for the driver, 28-year-old Jason Lagow of Ahwahnee. Lagow is also wanted on a felony warrant for failing to make a court ordered appearance on a domestic violence charge.
