California apple farmers report their harvest is wrapping up, after a season that featured large and high-quality fruit.

As many as one-third of California apples are sold in export markets, but this year more of the crop has stayed here at home.

Picky eaters may not mind eating a new type of broccoli that tastes good and could help your heart.

The broccoli tastes slightly sweeter because it contains less sulfur.

Scientists spent the last 14-years creating the new hybrid that is a cross between British broccoli and a wild Sicilian variety that has a flowery head.

it's been on sale in select stores in California and Texas for the last year under the name "Beneforte".
