However, protestors still reentered the park at 6 a.m., when it became legal to do so.
Earlier in the morning, deputies went to Courthouse Park and arrested eight people who were gathered at a gazebo around 1 a.m. Monday.
They were taken away without any problems.
At the same time, about 20 people were protesting on the sidewalk outside the park. Deputies left that group alone.
There's been a lot of activity between demonstrators and sheriff's deputies in the past 30 hours.
Roughly 20 people have been arrested so far and many of them are right back here unfazed by the jail time.

Deputies urged protesters to leave Courthouse Park peacefully, but Occupy Fresno demonstrators remained defiant while being put into handcuffs.
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office says eight people were arrested around 1 a.m. Monday morning.
More than 40 deputies in riot gear spent time surrounding the group.
A day earlier, Occupy Fresno claims more than a dozen protesters were arrested and taken to custody. Many of them returned hours later after being released from jail.
"Occupy Fresno will be even stronger, hopefully with more people," demonstrator Noah Canton said. "We're not going to leave."
Sheriff Margaret Mims says deputies will remain around Courthouse Park to monitor the situation.
"I'm grateful that it turned out as peaceful as it did," Mims said. "Again, we will have deputy sheriffs in the park for an undermined amount of time until we make sure that people don't come back."
The permit Occupy Fresno obtained last month expired last Tuesday and the group says it chose not to apply for a renewal with the county.
