The Fresno Housing Authority along with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development teamed up to revitalize dozens of urban homes in the city. The goal is to help escalate the property values in those areas and city officials say the project has had a ripple effect on local jobs.
A total of 77 homes have undergone a complete makeover. Additional funding will be up for debate in the coming months. It will be up to the city council to decide how to divvy up the money.
