/*Anthony Caro*/ and his friend, /*Jesse Lujan*/ died in July of this year, when the car they were in ran a stop sign and was hit by another vehicle. They were both student athletes.
Friday would have been Caro's 18th birthday. During a ceremony at the Selma Cemetery, family and friends sang happy birthday and released balloons in Caro's honor. They also set up memorials, dedicated to both Caro and Lujan, representing their love of sports.
The man who hit Caro and Lujan allegedly ran away from the crash. He's due in court later this month.
