S. Valley singers raise money to help needy

FRESNO, Calif.

The Turkey Transit Singers stopped by the Rotary Club meeting in Visalia today to help raise money for the Visalia Emergency Aid Council.

Every year, the Turkey Transit Singers raise between $12 thousand and $18 thousand to provide food for needy families during the holidays.

They earn the money by stopping by local businesses and homes singing Visalia and Thanksgiving-theme holiday songs as entertainment.

Some of their hits include "Turkey Transit Blues" and "My Turkey Will Survive", sung to the tune of Gloria Gaynor's hit song.
