The shootings happened just after 6 p.m. Monday evening in a liquor store parking lot. Relatives of the baby who was hit said the boy's father, was also was shot, but he drove his son to the hospital.
The boy went into surgery to try to relieve swelling on his brain. Police say most of the other injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
Investigators are looking for multiple gunmen but did not release further details on suspects or a motive.
