New exhibit opens in S. Valley museum

FRESNO, Calif.

Students from Sundale and Stone Corral Elementary Schools stopped by Tulare County's Agriculture Museum in Mooney Grove Park on Monday.

A special ceremony was held to honor more than $200 thousand in donations to help fund the new exhibits.

One exhibit celebrates the history of electricity as part of Southern California Edison's 125th anniversary.

"It's something we should be very proud of and be able to pass on and tell that story," Tulare County Superintendent Jim Vidak said.

"Most of the children live in Tulare County because of their history their family history or the larger history of the area that brought them here to working agriculture," Tulare County Supervisor Steve Worthley said.

Tulare County officials also welcome the public to come down to the museum to see the new exhibit and a brand new learning center to provide an interactive experience for students.
