Warming Centers open around the Valley

The City of Visalia has teamed up with the Visalia Rescue Mission to help anyone who needs emergency shelter. The rescue mission will provide food and a warm place to sleep.

The Visalia Rescue Mission is located at 322 Northeast 1st Street in Visalia. The phone number is 733-2231.

Those with special needs can contact the Visalia Fire Department, Emergency Preparedness Hotline, at 713-4600. The hotline is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

In the North Valley, warming centers will open on an as-needed basis. There are locations throughout Madera County including Chowchilla, Madera, Coarsegold, Oakhurst, North Fork, and Yosemite Lakes Park.
