A projectile launched from the Alameda County firing range at Camp Parks in Dublin during a taping for the show MythBusters damaged a home and a car Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred between 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. A witness told ABC7 that the MythBusters crew was using a cannon and fired what appeared to be a cannonball. The witness said the projectile went through a house and hit a car.

No one was injured.

Alameda County Sheriff's spokesperson J.D. Nelson would not confirm what the projectile was.

Earlier Tuesday, the show's official Twitter account retweeted a tweet by Grant Imahara, one of the hosts, saying they would be working with "heavy artillery." Both tweets have since been deleted.
