Firefighters rushed to the home on Rialto near Safford in Northwest Fresno around 1:30 p.m. Sunday. When crews arrived they found the fire burning on the outside and inside of the garage.
Firefighters quickly put out the flames. They said fast action by neighbors helped prevent anyone from getting hurt.
"All the residents that were in the home were able to get out safely. Neighbors saw the fire and warned them there was a fire on the side of their house," said Casey Clark with the Fresno Fire Department.
Investigators believe the fire started near where the power supply enters the home. PG&E has been called in to help determine exactly what happened.
Firefighters estimate the damage at about 80-thousand dollars.
