Jan. 12 AM Live Ag Report

FRESNO, Calif.

The California Strawberry Commission reports dry weather in Orange, Ventura and San Diego Counties is keeping the harvest on track.

Farmers say they're irrigating more than usual because of the lack of rain.

Ag experts say the outlook for the strawberry crop is good, with more than one thousand additional acres being planted this year compared to last year.

The final crop numbers will depend on weather through the rest of the harvest season.
