It happened early Sunday morning near 5th Street and Home Avenue in Central Fresno.
Officers went to the house for a domestic violence call. When they arrived, they heard six shots fired in the backyard. As police tried to contact the suspect, his pregnant wife escaped with a small child.
Investigators say Patrick Holland tried to run away and then hide, but a police K9 caught him.
Holland is now facing several charges, including making terrorist threats.
