Manipulated diabetes advertising photo causes controversy

FRESNO, Calif.

Cleo Berry took this picture a few years ago, and since then -- it was sold to a stock image company, then Photoshopped to show the man missing a leg. When berry took the picture, he signed a waiver -- so use of the photo and alterations were allowed.

The 27-year-old L.A. based actor and director says he supports the city's efforts to educate people about the dangers of diabetes. However, he disagrees with the use of a manipulated image of an able-bodied person, instead of an image of a real victim.
