Tulare County Sheriff's deputies say during the crime, gunfire rang out between the victims and the suspects, leaving one of the suspects dead. The other ran away from the scene.
One of the victims of the home invasion, Candelario Moran ended up getting arrested after investigators discovered more than 400 pounds of marijuana and illegal guns in his house.
Sgt. Chris douglass said, "He is in custody because of some of the items we located on scene and again it's a possibility that it was a possible motive of the home invasion robbery itself."
Deputies are asking anyone with information to call them immediately.
