The shooting happened just after midnight Thursday morning on Meadow Drive near E Street.

The Tulare Police Department says officers responded to a disturbance at the location. Officers say they heard gunshots when they arrived.
Officers say they then confronted a man who they ended up shooting. The man was transported to the hospital.
The Tulare County Sheriff's Department is currently conducting the investigation.
