Investigators say the men drove up to the victim on Walnut Street in Pixley shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday, and opened fire. The victim was rushed to a hospital and is expected to survive.
A short time later deputies found a pickup truck, believed to be linked to the shooting, on fire in Earlimart.
The suspects were no where to be found.
