Quadruple shooting suspect caught in Madera County

FRESNO, Calif.

Madera County Sheriff John Anderson says Maldonado is suspected of shooting four people outside a home near Krohn Street and Sharon Blvd on Sunday. All four victims survived their injuries. Sheriff Anderson said based on the evidence, he believes Maldonado acted alone.

Sheriff Anderson says the suspect reportedly had an argument with someone inside the home, when the argument turned physical. Sheriff's believe during the altercation, Maldonado went to his car and returned with two guns. He then opened fire, hitting four people, then fled the scene.

Authorities say Maldonado spent four days eluding capture until Thursday night. He was found hiding in a single-wide mobile home on Avenue 14 1/2 and Road 28 1/2 in Madera County.

Maldonado was arrested without incident. His bail was set at $1-million.
