The victims are ages 17 and 19. Fortunately, their injuries are non-life threatening.
Investigators initially responded to a "shots fired" call near Oak and Bridge in Downtown Visalia around 8 o'clock Tuesday night. But officers, say the two victims left the scene, and headed toward Bridge and School just a few streets down.
Detectives searched both areas for evidence. They say a group of young people were walking in the downtown area -- when more than one person approached them and started shooting.
At this point, police do not know what the motive was. They have not made any arrests.
