Firefighters saved a woman swept down a canal in Central Fresno Saturday night. The woman was pulled from the water near Franklin and Broadway.
Firefighters say the woman was clinging to a branch in the middle of the canal. Crews were able to throw a rope to her, and pull her to safety.
Investigators believe the woman went into the canal at a nearby overpass, but they aren't sure exactly how she got into the water.
