Police say Miguel Ferreira, 22, walked into the Walmart store on south Mooney Boulevard in Visalia Wednesday afternoon with two small children.
Walmart security suspected he may have stolen merchandise and tried to stop him on his way out of the store, but he took off. He left the children behind.
Police found Ferreira Thursday, along with the stolen merchandise and booked him into the Tulare County jail on charges of robbery and child endangerment.
