He was convicted of fatally shooting his brother /*Daniel Lyons*/, 55, and his brother's longtime girlfriend /*Barbara Scharton*/, 48, in their Santa Barbara home, in May of 2009.
Lyons was a building contractor and was apparently involved in a legal dispute with his brother.
Prosecutors believe money for construction costs was the motive for the killings.
