Two accused in series of Visalia robberies

FRESNO, Calif.

Visalia police believe Jesus Quijada and Alfred Ruiz are responsible for holding up three different businesses in the city.

Over the past two weeks, the Discount Dollar Store, Fosters Freeze and Bubba's Mini Mart on K and Santa Fe were hit.

Police say the suspects took off with cash and some of the cashiers' personal items.

Quijada was found to be wanted by state parole and had two active felony warrants, and Ruiz was booked into jail, for three counts of armed robbery.
