Hanford mad cow called isolated case

Ag officials are telling the public not to worry, after discovering a mad cow in California earlier this year.

Authorities found the infected cattle back in April in Hanford. Now, after months of investigations, the U.S. Department of Agriculture says the disease was an isolated case and did not pose a threat to the food supply.

The agency also says human health was never at risk.
