Fresno Unified Hosts a Series of Immunization Clinics

FRESNO, Calif.

California law requires that all students entering the seventh through 12th grades must provide proof of the t-dap booster shot for pertussis, otherwise known as "whooping cough." The requirement includes students in both public and private schools.

Students who do not have proof of the vaccine will not be allowed in school at the start of the 2012 school year.

Fresno Unified has mobile units that will be traveling across the district to provide vaccination services for students.
