Transportation officials say this year, there are some new changes to buses -- ones that you might not necessarily see.
"We have new technology on buses, compressed natural gas. Also the diesel buses are equipped with particulate traps," said Fresno Unified Transportation Director Ralph Meza.
School administrators also want to remind drivers that if they see a school bus, they need to slow down and stop when the lights are flashing red.
