Fibber McGees, at Cedar and Herndon, has been open since 1995. A sign on the window thanked customers for their patronage.
The owners of the restaurant also made the announcement to their customers via Twitter, Tuesday night.
In a tweet, they say they had a good run and are sad to have to close the doors.
The Northeast Fresno favorite had been open for lunch and dinner for patrons, and often hosted special events.
