The 'Dogs spent time at practice Wednesday doing just that.
Against Oregon last Saturday, the offense only converted 2-16 on third down, killing drive after drive after drive.
And on the other side, the Ducks converted 9-17 on third downs, extending drives and putting up points.
Dogs head coach Tim DeRuyter says adjustments will be made this week.
"Absolutely. There's a combination of things, you wish it was just one thing you could correct. But it was a combination of things and today we're going to have a third down period in the red zone period. So we've got to get better at both." said DeRuyter.
